After passing B.D.S. in 1980 from Nair Hospital dental College, Mumbai, practiced for about 10 years in Ratnagiri. Having interest in advanced Dentistry, shifted to Dombivli, a rapidly growing city, in 1991.
Served Indian dental Association ,Dombivli Branch in the capacity of Hon. Secretary in 1996-97 and was nominated as President of the IDA Dombivli Branch for 1997-98. The tenure as a President was very busy throughout the year organizing various activities. Was awarded Dr. Keki Mistry Trophy for best Scientific Activities, on national level.
Joined Rotary Club of Dombivli Midtown in 2000 and in the very first year was invited to Georgetown, Guyana, South America to serve as a Rotary International Volunteer Dentist in 2001. In 2002 served in Jamaica West Indies as a Rotary Volunteer Dentist and in Jerusalem, Israel in 2008 for two weeks.
Served as a President of Rotary Club of Dombivli Midtown in 2010-11 and conducted an array of activities.
